Destruct-O-Match II

In Destruct-O-Match II you have to group (two or more) boulders of the same colour, and then double click to remove them. The more boulders you clear at once the more points you earn, and to progress to the next level you need to score the necessary amount of points shown on the bottom right corner (this number will turn green once you have reached or crossed the required number).

Just to recap the boulders, here is a list from the game's instructions that I color-coded for easy memorisation.

Step 1
Get rid of any Morph Boulders on the screen immediately. If the boulder is joined to other boulders of the same color and you just let the numbers dwindle down to zero, all those other attaching boulders will also turn into Indestructible Boulders. This will be very frustrating as you can't get rid of them unless all of them surround a Fire Boulder.

Step 2
Start grouping the most boulder color that is the same as the Multiplier Boulder. If there isn't any multiplier boulder then just choose the one you think has the most number of boulders (don't waste time counting, just take an overall estimate). Say it was the green boulder. You will need to start destroying all the other boulders but leaving the green boulders in the process so that in the end you get one massive chunk of green boulders. DO NOT TOUCH THE Overkill Boulder OR THE Fill Boulder OR THE Fire Boulder!

Step 3
Once you have grouped the boulders, and there's nothing more you can do, then you can destroy the big pile you've created. This should give you enough points to exceed the Next Level number.

Step 4
Making sure you have removed all the possible boulders of the color of the Overkill Boulder, destroy the overkill boulder. This step can be done before Step 3 if you've made sure as many of the Overkill Boulder's color has been destroyed as possible and it's hindering you from making a biger pile of the boulder color in Step 3. Remember, the boulders destroyed by the overkill boulder that were not actually connected to the overkill boulder will not earn you any points. This is why you have to make sure that you have cleared all possible boulders of that color before destroying the overkill boulder.

Step 5
By now you should have only one or two rows of boulders on your screen. Make sure you have cleared all the boulders that are the same color as the Fill Boulder before destroying the fill boulder. This should give you a new row of boulders that have the same colors as the boulders that were remaining on your screen before you destroyed the fill boulder. Now you have more chances to piece up colored boulders and score those extra points.

Step 6
Be very careful which boulders you decide to destroy and in which order. Now is the time to plan very carefully beforehand. The best result out of your careful planning having the only boulder left on the screen as the Fire Boulder. It's ok if you have boulders directly surrounding the fire boulder because they will get destroyed as well when you destroy the fire boulder. However, you will only get 1 point, even if you had a maximum number of 8 boulders surrounding the fire boulder.

Bonus Points
If you've completely cleared the screen, you will get a maximum bonus point added to your total score for the game level. For the first level this should bring your total score to around 400 points. You get bonus points if you only had 2 or 3 or 4 boulders left on the screen, although the amount of bonus points will decrease respectively.

Secret Code
This is not advised in the first few rounds as you can easily get by without having to use this. By typing out destroyboulders, all the boulders of one random color will be destroyed. However, you will not get any points for those destroyed boulders. This should only be used if you're absolutely desperate, usually during the later few levels in the game. This will only work once in one game.

Trophies
As with all other games, you also get a trophy if you've gotten a top score.

Another perk of the game is that you get an avatar if you score over 2500 points and send the score.
