The Castle of Eliv Thade

In the game you control Gilly, a poor Usul who was lost in the woods and accidentally stumbled into the Castle of Eliv Thade. To escape, you must visit all four rooms, and collect an item from each, and then head to the Crypt to put the spirit of Eliv Thade to rest.

You can move 1, 2, or 3 spaces using the mouse, but beware - each time you move Thade will give you an anagram. In the hard mode, if you move 1 space there is a 5 letter anagram, 2 spaces a 6 letter anagram, 3 spaces a 7 letter anagram. However, solving a 5 letter anagram will only give you 2 points, a 6 letter anagram gives 5 points, a 7 letter anagram gives 10 points, and if you're lucky enough to get the final 8 letter anagram and solve it correctly, you will get 50 points.

Obviously you will need some assistance so try to find a good anagram solver website before you start the game. You can search for some on google, and test them out to see if they are working to your specifications. I think this one is pretty good: http://www.crossword-dictionary.com/anagram.asp, but everyone has their own favorite.

If you've never played this game before, choose Scardey Cat and get used to it. In the easy mode, moving one space will give you a 4 letter anagram worth only one point. This is a good mode to start in, but not the best if you're hoping for the avatar or a high score. Once you've familiarised yourself with the game, choose Super Brave and this should give you the maximum points.

Tip #1 - Always go as far as you can in one go. This means choosing 3 steps unless there's a crack or it's a room. Then choose the next possible maximum. Even if it means you can only move one step, DO NOT STEP ON A CRACK! You will lose a life if you do and that's just not fun.

Tip #2 - Not all the words will be in your anagram solver. TNT likes to be funny and added neopets words in there to make it harder on you. In this case, try to find all the possible combinations of the word that looks alright to you. If it's not a Neopets word, check it in a dictionary to make sure that it's a real word. Some words may look weird to you, like xatan, but it's what Eliv Thade is looking for.

Tip #3 - Need a little more assistance? There's the hint button on the bottom righthand corner that will give you the starting letter(s) of the word. To increase the available letters in the hint by one more, type in rehaxtint (anagram for extra hint), then delete it, type in the actual answer and press enter. When you have to solve an anagram the next time round, your extra letter will be stored in the hint button. This can only be done once per game and should be done in the beginning, when you actually know the answers.

Clicking on the final door will give you an 8 letter anagram. If you solve it correctly, then you've finished the game. However, in order to get the avatar you need to score over 1200 points, which means that it's not enough just to finish the game the first time round. You will need to go back and forth in the few spaces before the final door to get your points up to 1200. Finishing the game will only give you 100 bonus points so your best bet to getting the avatar is to get 1200 points before you solve the final anagram and lay Eliv Thade to rest.
