Adding music is not advised on your page. A lot of people don't like music when they're using the internet, or they may be already listening to music and your music will tune out the music that thwy want to hear. But, if you need sound effects, here is the code to use:

Most music files are are in .mp3 format. There are some other ones which can work but are very uncommon.

If you don't want your music to be automatically played and wish to let the visitors have a choice, you can make your music file a link for them to click on before visitors can hear the music.

Your file extension can be .mp3 or .midi. You need to upload your music file before displaying it otherwise nobody can hear it. Very few hosts allow music uploads, which is why very few sites offer music.
